A Bodhi tree wraps around a Buddha statue.

This is a great picture. The way the tree embraces the Buddha, and the tone and texture of the statue blend so well with the tree. It reminds me that everything in the world is connected, intertwined like the roots of an ancient tree.

It’s sort of like the heart trees from A song of Ice and Fire. The old gods are watching!
